Optional: teaching space familiarisation – going into an unknown room where there will be lots of people can be difficult for some people. We’ve booked this as an optional session for anyone who would like to familiarise themselves with the Chapel Lecture Theatre as that is where most of your teaching will happen in the first year. We’ll also go to the teaching lab so that you can see that space.	Monday 14 September	9-10am	Chapel LT
Student and Academic Support: You’ll learn about some of the support available on campus for your studies and more generally.	Monday 14 September	12am-1pm	Chapel LT
Lab induction: The brilliant lab team will introduce you to our teaching lab and ensure you know how to comply with lab safety.	Wednesday 16 September	9-10am and 10-11am – check your timetable to find out which session you’re in!	DM teaching lab

Treasure Hunt: We’ll assign you to a group and set you the challenge of completing our treasure hunt on campus, hopefully familiarising yourself with campus and getting to know some of your peers. Return to the Chapel LT at 3pm to find out the winners!	Thursday 17 September	11am	Campus and Chapel LT at 3pm
