The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST)
The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology () is a leading international university recognised for excellence in science, technology and innovation. Its engineering programmes are consistently ranked among the world’s best, with particular strengths in areas such as civil, electronic and materials engineering, supported by strong industry links and research output. HKUST’s law provision has also rapidly gained a strong reputation for global outlook, interdisciplinary focus and expertise in areas such as technology law and international regulation.

Building on our mutual strengths, together the University of Exeter and HKUST have established a unique two-way Masters Progression pathway scheme, engaging Exeter's Law School and HKUST's School of Engineering. Through the pathway programme, Exeter invites HKUST undergraduate leavers to join Exeter's and (excluding pathways requiring a background in accounting) programmes, and HKUST invites Exeter undergraduate leavers to join a range of HKUST Masters programmes in Engineering fields, including in:
- MSc in Aeronautical Engineering
- MSc in Biomolecular Engineering and health Informatics
- Chemical and Energy Engineering
- Civil Infrastructural Engineering and Management
- Environmental Engineering and Management
- Electronic Engineering
- Engineering Enterprise Management (no engineering background required)
- Intelligent Building Technology and Management
- Integrated Circuits
- Mechanical Engineering
- Telecommunications
Through this Agreement, all UG graduating students who meet the standard academic and English-language requirements of the partners' Masters programmes listed above will receive an offer to study at the partner, inclusive of a dedicated partnership scholarship against the standard international tuition fee rates at the partner.
